"Dark but soft aesthetic."
I’ve been a fan of horror since I was a little and spent class days reading Goosebumps rip-offs, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and Bunnicula. I have to thank Grandma for traumatizing my seven-year-old self with Jurassic Park and Alien. Also, I'm a huge fan of bats and black lipstick. I'm one of those "October 365/24/7" kinda folks.
Partially inspired by the oeuvre of Cradle of Filth, I love studying gothic and strange literature. Before I graduated with my BA in English from Kennesaw State University, I worked as a social media coordinator for my university's writing center, which sprung from an internship.
I am currently a fiction editor for Exhume, the social media and web editor for Doubleback Review, and a fiction contributor for Marias at Sampaguitas. In 2020, I earned my MA in professional writing with a main concentration in technical writing and a secondary concentration in creative writing.
I published my first novel, Dove Keeper, in October 2018. My specialties are horror, fantasy, and LGBT fiction.
I am a proud member of the queer community, and I support authors and readers having an array of characters they can relate to personally. I hope what I create will help others feel less alone.
